| After finishing her fine art studies in Switzerland, Veronika Maser immigrated to New Zealand in 1992. Her woven wire sculptures explore the expansive potential of positive and negative construction. Using form, texture and shape, her most recent exhibition examined ways to understand the universe. Maser's new work has a strong lineal emphasis, paring back geometry to its most simplified form. In her latest work Drift, interwoven threads generate a contemplative vibration. Maser works full time from her studio in the Hokitika on the West Coast of the South Island. |

Based in Christchurch, Kim Lowe completed her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury in 2008. Lowe’s latest body of prints Jade and Pounamu explore her Chinese and Pakeha genealogy within the context of Aotearoa. Lowe’s monochromatic approach to colour reflects the ancient Chinese yin-yang philosophy. Weaving in and out of inherited traditions, Lowe’s embossings and woodblock prints communicate a contemporary cultural narrative.

| Brothers Paul and Mark Rayner apply wit, irony and playfulness to subjects or themes which transgress the socially acceptable norms. In this exhibition, they commemorate the controversial David Bain verdict with a series of teapots. |
