Can I take something home ‘on approval’?

If you live in Auckland and would like to view an artwork in-situ before deciding whether to purchase, we are happy to loan the work to you for a period of up to 7 days.  Please send an email to gallery@seedgallery.co.nz to request an appro of any of the works featured on this web site.

There is no shipping option available to me at checkout / the artwork I'd like to purchase is listed as "Pick up only" - what can I do?

Some of the artworks we sell are extremely fragile or difficult to transport and a custom collection or delivery may need to be arranged. Please email gallery@seedgallery.co.nz and we will find a solution.

The drop down menus are disappearing in my web browser - how can I view them?

Unfortunately the website template we are using is not compatible with older versions of MS Explorer. For the best experience of our website we recommend downloading the latest version of Google Chrome here

What does "Edition Size" mean?

This is the total number of each print made; an edition size of 35 for example means that the number of prints will be limited to 35. Aside from photographs, all of our artists' prints are originals created by hand rather than reproductions of an original artwork. An "artist proof" or "working proof" is an additional impression of a print made during the printmaking process to see the current state of the plate or screen while the piece is being worked on; this can include experimentation with colour. An artist proof or working proof will not necessarily match the final edition.

How can I buy a gift voucher?

Fixed value vouchers can be purchased through our website here or we can help you in person if your desired value is not available. Please email us at gallery@seedgallery.co.nzWe can post or email a gift voucher directly to your loved one.

Can Seed Gallery arrange framing?

Yes! Framing takes 5-10 working days with our trusted local framer - if you would like a piece framed, we can email you a quote and images of framing suggestions. As shipping for framed items is more expensive, we will quote for this at the same time.

Can I pick up my order?

Please see our Order Processing and Shipping page for information.

My address is Rural – what are the extra charges?

We currently have no extra rural charges, however some large items cannot be delivered to rural addresses due to the size of the available courier vehicles. We will contact you if this is the case.

Do you offer a Saturday delivery?

We don’t currently offer a Saturday delivery service as standard, but email us at gallery@seedgallery.co.nz and we will do our best to help.

How do I return an item?

The sale is unconditional. Each artwork is unique and cannot be replaced - unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange for change of mind.

When you sign for a parcel, you are acknowledging that you have received the artwork in good condition, please do not sign until you have inspected your goods.

If you believe your artwork is defective, send an email to gallery@seedgallery.co.nz within 14 days of receipt. If a remedy is required, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, NZ.
