Greg Straight is an artist and graphic designer based in Auckland. Having studied at Elam School of Fine Arts, Straight has had a varied career in the visual arts and has spent time as a resident of London and in New Zealand. Recent projects have seen him creating custom illustrations for a range of high profile clients including Meridian, Microsoft, McDonalds, TVNZ, Tip-Top, Auckland Council, Chelsea and Matua.

Inspired by nature and his environment, Straight’s recent prints reflect his engagement with the landscapes and oceans of New Zealand along with the endless meanderings of his mind. His bright and strong graphic compositions are playful, humorous, and suffused with Kiwiana. His Dreaming of summer series taps into a collective nostalgia of summers gone by.
