Every year since 2006, Seed has invited a large group of artists to respond to a template of our design. This year we challenged 30 artists to create artworks using a chevron cut from locally sourced plywood. Each artist or collaborative pair was given 10 templates and an open brief. The result is Push Play, a dazzling exhibition of 300 original artworks which attests to the optimism, resilience, and ingenuity of our community of artists.
$12 from each piece sold will go to Seed Gallery’s ongoing charity partner, KidsCan. Through practical means, KidsCan helps disadvantaged Kiwi kids to engage in their education and reach their full potential.
